Prof. Krista Varantola is Rector and Chancellor emerita of Tampere University in Finland. She is the former Chair of TENK and currently a permanent expert on the Board. She is member of the ALLEA Permanent Working Group on Science and Ethics. She chaired the drafting group of the revised edition of the ALLEA European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity published in 2023. She has acted in an advisory role in many European projects on research integrity.
