Svitlana Arbuzova is a researcher in the field of Medical genetics and a founder of Eastern-Ukrainian Center for Medical Genetics and Prenatal Diagnosis. She is a Leading Researcher of the Department of Molecular Immunology of the Institute of Biochemistry of the National Ukrainian Academy of Science. She is the Head of the Commission on Combating Pseudoscience and Falsification of Scientific Research of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. She has been involved in confronting issues of academic misconduct in Ukraine for many years and is responsible for the implementation of best practices and the development of a regulatory framework to ensure ethical standards and research integrity in academia.
