Authors
Anu Tammeleht & Erika Löfström
Description
This article presents a comprehensive toolbox designed to evaluate the effectiveness of research ethics and integrity (REI) training. Through a literature review, it identifies existing assessment tools and highlights common limitations such as disciplinary specificity, limited accessibility, and lack of implementation readiness. The paper introduces additional, context-tested tools aimed at addressing these issues, emphasizing their adaptability, feasibility, and capacity to assess short-, mid-, and long-term training outcomes. It distinguishes between tools for data collection and instruments for analysis, offering a categorized list of each. An appendix table further details the tools’ scope, functionality, feasibility, and susceptibility to manipulation by generative AI.
